GENERAL QUESTIONS:

Q: Who will be shooting my wedding?

A: Paul will be the main shooter for every shoot, whilst a second shooter allows more ground to be covered and ensures every photo opportunity is maximised. Like Paul, every second shooter is a trained and insured professional.

Q: Will we receive every image that you take at our wedding.

A: The short answer is no. In order to achieve wonderful images that capture a memorable moment, we often take several shots in quick succession. At the end of the day many of these photos we archive or chose not to show to our clients. These photos will often include unflattering facial expression, body positions, or repeats.

STYLE & QUALITY:

Q: What is your style of photography

A: We do not limit ourselves to just one style of photography. In an industry that is ever involving, it is important to stay abreast of new developments. We discuss each wedding with our clients on a one to one basis taking into account their preferences in style. We will shoot any groups or shots that the couple requires on the day, plus give advice on images that can be achieved.

Q: What do you do to ensure the highest quality images

A: We are professional, qualified photographers who are passionate about their work. We leave no part of the day to chance everything is planned. We check all our equipment and have backup if required. We know our equipment and know what it is capable of achieving. We use professional postproduction software to edit our images (Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom amongst others).

POST PRODUCTION:

Q: What do you mean by postproduction and what happens to my images during this process?

A: All of the final images are checked for colour, exposure, clarity and cropped to achieve top quality images. All the final images are also converted to Black and White.

OUTPUT:

Q: How long does it take to receive my images?

A: We understand our clients are eager to see the photos from their big day.
We will usually have the pictures ready for delivery within 2 weeks of the wedding. In exceptional circumstances this may vary.

Q: What options do we have for making up a photo book or wedding album?

A: We appreciate a couple's taste is an individual and subjective matter. To ensure your wedding album or book matches your desires, we meet each client after their wedding to guide them through the process of selecting their ideal product from our varied choice of trusted and quality suppliers. This also gives us the opportunity to discuss the design of their pages and the images they want included.

PAYMENT AND FEES:

Q: How do I reserve you for my date?

A: All dates are reserved once we have received a £100 deposit to secure our services. We will also ask you to sign a document in the interest of both parties which details our terms and conditions.

Q: If we cancel the wedding, will we receive our deposit back?

A: Unfortunately no. Deposits are used to reserve your date meaning we do not accept new clients on that date. The deposit protects us against cancellation and the losses that we occur as a result.

Q: If we change our wedding to a different date, will we be able to use our deposit towards the future date

A: Yes. Deposits can be transferred providing enough notice is given and we can accommodate you on the chosen date.

What to look for in a wedding Photographer?

1. Are they fully insured?
2. Do they use professional equipment?
3. Are they trained, qualified to undertake the task?
4. Do they have confidence and good people skills?
5. Have they got real full day’s images to show you?
6. Are the shots reflective of the full day’s proceedings?
7. How many weddings have they shot?
